The Morse Mountain Trail located in Phippsburg leads to a Seawall and Beach. The trail runs through a conservation area for Plovers and Seabirds. ( Yes there are some homes located along the trail. Mostly there before the land was donated. ) The beach connects to Popham Beach, which is a private section of the beach the beach, requiring paid access. If you continue following the shore, you eventually end up at Fort Popham. ( Not before passing through more “private” land. )

If reflections were mirrors into another world, I’d certainly jump.

This trail never seems to get old; an added bonus, the plovers will soon be running about.
