This time, I stopped for a few minutes, and I have to admit that this as a single book instead of a trilogy would've been preferred. My number one reason is that it reads fast and easy, and breaking it up seems unnecessary. But, hey, that's just my two cents. I mean, I still enjoyed it regardless of the breaks. Jax Jamieson and Haley "Hales" Telfer are destined, even if the stars don't always align. I like that a couple of years have passed, and a few things did and didn't happen during that time. (Note: for some, it might upset for (view spoiler)) -- Book quote 'Haley Cross may have lasted two years at Wickedβ¦ But she wonβt last an hour with me.' -- Jax Jamieson My favorite part is probably when she literally left him hanging. I revisited that scene a couple of times, enjoying it more each time. π΅π΅π€£ Seeing Annie and Jax click is probably my second favorite part. π€ There's a lot packed into this, but it really does pass quickly. Maybe too quickly, as I wanted more of them as a couple navigating the challenges with parenting a teenager, bypassing the craptastic leadership at Wicked, and more. I read along with the audio book.
