I do have green shamrocks too. They are blooming fiercely! The purple shamrocks are putting out delicate pink flowers too, just a few.

Primrose blooming fiercely in a round shallow pot. The flowers are vibrant, vivid shades of red, fuchsia, and scarlet, with bright yellow centers. They’re so bright they look AI, but this is an unfiltered pic just on my porch steps. Some slender green hyacinth stalks are just starting between them. The pot has narcissus too but it’s being shy yet. Primrose are almost always the first to bloom, in late winter. These little baddies have been blooming for a month already.
Zoomed out to show more potted plants on my concrete porch steps. Below the primrose is a mini rose bush, filling in with green foliage. It likely won’t bloom until at least May. A faux marble lion statue is on the next step, with a small yellow pot and a sapling start. Below them is a strawberry pot, but I don’t think it made it through winter. The primrose bowl is so vivid comparatively. My porch is painted yellow, and the porch rails are rustic wood.

An industrial area with warehouses, telephone poles, and wires crisscrossing, as seen from my porch, which frames the upper edge and has a column support with Dutch colonial Victorian trim. My porch is painted yellow and a terra cotta gold. Low lying clouds and fog diffuse red light in the sky to the west, from a neon sign in the distance. The wet street reflects headlights from a car as it drives past the warehouses. The leafless barren branches of trees in my yard stand in dark relief, a natural barrier to the industrial world outside my doorstep. The sky is a dark twilight grey, pre-dawn.
Looking through to the end of my porch, to the north, across the industrial area which is a sea of warehouses, telephone poles, and crisscrossing wires in every direction. The broken chandelier I rigged with fireworks LEDs glows golden, illuminating my porch with warm light, in contrast to the heavy, grey, overcast skies. The barren tree limbs in dark relief are like looking through intricate black lace.
