Simple, colorful painting of a forested landscape at sunset. They sky is ablaze with sweeping bands of yellow and bright orange near the horizon line darkening into deeper oranges and finally dark reds at the top of the frame. The viewer appears to be standing on an overlook with a tall coniferous tree to their left—lit up red and yellow in the sunset—and a low rock framed by some bright magenta vegetation behind it on their right. Below and in the distance, a thin ribbon of water reflecting the fiery colors of the sky winds away between rolling green hills, toward the horizon.
