PowerDNS replication failing (TCP nameserver had error, cycling backend: GSQLBackend unable to lookup) DNS replication between a PowerDNS Primary and Secondary stopped working after MySQL was upgraded on the Primary.

Analyzing and fixing Internal Server Error in PowerDNS API and Opera DNS UI A specific DNS zone would not load in PowerDNS DNS-UI anymore, showing a Oops! Something went wrong! error instead.
