I've released version 0.3.7 of my WIP #Psion Agenda-like app "Pygenda" targeting keyboard-equipped PDAs running Linux (#GeminiPDA, #CosmoCommunicator, #PinePhone + keyboard, #PocketReform, F(x)tec #Pro1X).
The last two releases have been bug-fix releases (two releases because minutes after 0.3 […]
A photo of a Gemini PDA and a Cosmo Communicator (clamshell handheld devices with keyboards, similar to the Psion Series 5 from the 1990s, but more powerful and with colour screens). They are both running desktop Linux and Pygenda. On the Gemini, Pygenda is open in Week View and a todo-item is visible for 24th December: "Do Christmas shopping". On the Cosmo, Pygenda is open in Year View and the same to-do item is visible.
I've just released version 0.3.5 of Pygenda - my WIP #Psion Agenda-like app targetting #GeminiPDA & #CosmoCommunicator running Linux. (Similar keyboard #PDA type devices running #LinuxMobile should work too, e.g. #PinePhone + keyboard, F(x)tec #Pro1x […]

40 hrs left to get a @thefxtec #Pro1x. This link unlocks the "secret" @xdadevelopers perk at 527€/$639 (less than a #Pro1):Check earlier tweets for videos of Pro1 running Sailfish, Ubuntu or Debian as a container. Also do watch @teringleider's review.

A side-by-side overview of @UBports's #UbuntuTouch & Jolla's #SailfishOS running on @thefxtec #Pro1 hardware keyboard phone:Hopefully it helps those hesitating in the last 3 days of the IGG campaign (link in the description).

Not many @thefxtec #Pro1x units left with Black Friday prices: a few 6/128GB units at 502€, and fewer 8/256GB at 569€. Check earlier tweets to see what this device can do with Ubuntu or Sailfish+Debian. More suitable than the Astro for mobile Linux imo.

This is why I want a thumb hardware keyboard and not one for 10 fingers on my smartphone: I don't want to need a table or a desk to use it. This way I can even type while walking. Thanks @thefxtec for putting 64 keys on it.#pro1 #pro1x #hwkb #fxtec #xda

And this is why I want a hardware keyboard on my smartphone (although this is not 100% fair: I'm not use to this vkb and it's admittedly configured small, but I would never type 250 char/min with it).#pro1 #pro1x #hwkb #fxtec #xda

For those curious about how useful is the keyboard on @thefxtec #Pro1 and #Pro1x, I cannot recommend enough checking out @teringleider's in-depth user review after close to one year of daily use:#Linux #LineageOS #SailfishOS

Can't wait to run #SailfishOS + #Debian container on #Pro1x from @thefxtec and @xdadevelopers. Works well on #Pro1 with "just" 6GB of RAM. Having i3 + rofi + my favorite applications + LTE in my pocket is priceless. See it in action:#Linux

So excited about @thefxtec × @xdadevelopers #Pro1x collaboration: that'll be even more RAM to run desktop #Linux together with #SailfishOS. It works well with 6GB on the #Pro already. See it in action:
