We visited #Wasaga Beach recently, there’s A LOT of waterfront construction, and you can see the disregard for beach access and neglect for small businesses in how they’ve established fencing and closures. They could build vibrant community without ruining #provincialparks, if they cared to try.

It was a nice hike at Wheatley Provincial Park with Sadie until I was hit with a $30 parking ticket.
Saw the no parking signs, but apparently, I was partially over the faded yellow no parking marker on the pavement. I'm trying not to be too annoyed but nice money grab. #provincialparks

Most of the boats are already gone. Can see the bottom of the river opening onto lake.
This was an underwater sandbar last summer, all the green stuff on left and right were part of the lake bed near the beach.
Little art retreat with a friend resulted in better photos than painting. So much heat and no drought this summer plus fires. The water lines have never been this low. I was walking across parts that were under water last summer. #haliburton #ontario #summer #northernontario #provincialparks
