Don't think the #REDJanuary crew are here but day 2 run in the woods was an absolute corker. Have it as a timeline cleanse if nothing else.

It’s late afternoon in the last day ofJanuary and the low sun provides a golden backdrop to a pedestrian walkway.
Red January Days 30 and 31. Last walk of Red January 2025. I’ve been taking part for several years now and I never regret it. I’ve added running, biking and yoga but the daily walk is still my favourite way to manage January. #redjanuary
That’s a wrap. 31 days of #running every day.
(Technically 32, because I started the streak on New Year’s Eve)
Now for three glorious rest days - then the half marathon training starts.

Tonight is my penultimate #REDJanuary run.
I’ve done 134km so far this month, so round up evening’s effort to 6k (over the usual Thursday run club 5k) and do 10k tomorrow (rather than the planned 3k), I can end the month on a nice round 150km.

Athlete "Intelligence", produced by Strava AI: Steady 2.1 km run with consistent endurance pacing, maintaining your typical heart rate zones and keeping effort relatively low
"Keeping effort relatively low" - dammit Strava! There doesn't seem to be any way of adjusting for recent heart surgery and beta blockers - that was a maximum effort run! #running #MalvernHills #REDJanuary
The worst part about #REDJanuary? All the laundry.
I have three full running kits, but when you’re running every day, that means having to do a laundry load every three days.

What to do when you have a walk/jog/run streak to maintain for #REDJanuary and Éowyn is on his way to ruin your fun? Up and out just after midnight is what! #running #stravawanker #newshoes
A little evening run along Coventry Canal appreciating the sights.
23 days into RED January with 85 miles.

Strava notification informing me that I’ve completed the January 100km challenge.
Strava has informs me that so far this month I’ve run 100km.
If I maintain my current cadence, I should end the month with around 135km under my belt.

Two thirds of the way through RED January, 77 miles run since the 1st January. 10 days to go!

A little treat for a Tuesday afternoon courtesy of Vitality and Cafe Nero certainly no problem getting my active points doing #REDjanuary 😀
Bit behind. Day 15 #redjanuary was slightly spooky.
A chart comparing my running distance so far this month (71km) with my running distance at this point last month (44km).
Chart of all my runs over the last year.
I’m at the halfway point of my #REDJanuary challenge.
So far this month I’ve run 71km.
That’s in comparison to the 44km I had run by this point last month, and the total of 64km I run last January.
If I keep this up, Janurary 2025 will be my longest running distance month by quite some margin.

Day 14 of #Redjanuary Making sure I’m active each day in January.
