While I'm in the middle of data wrangling, it's a good time to mention to always keep detailed records and note what you're doing, why, and where you're up to.
All needs storing per GDPR and be accessible and *understandable* to anyone else you're working with.

Want to use a method you're unfamiliar with? Work with colleagues who know the method (and underlying theories) well
This ensures your research question suits the chosen method (and participants). And you have help to use the method, then be able to interpret and report results
Today’s #ResearchTip is if you’re using an acronym to describe your study ensure it is clear, respectful, and does not imply cures or other promises your work cannot deliver.
I’ve seen trials and other studies using acronyms like “hope” “calm” or “care” when they won't offer ANY of these things.

But always run a thorough literature search first as often someone's done the work already. Also ask professional networks as there may be other hidden histories and approaches you can use
Quick #ResearchTip if you're booking presenters for events, awareness days or activities, give as much notice as possible. Asking people a month, a week, or even days before is unlikely to work. Follow up to confirm and remind them too, as if they don't hear from you they may accept another offer.
#ResearchTip: Print out your primary sources and bind them - all you need is a needle, thread, washi tape, and a dream!
