Yesterday, the dialogue session between Spain and the Committee on the Rights of the Child began in Geneva. As members of @platdeinfancia.bsky.social in Spain, we participated in the process of drafting the Alternative Report presented to the Committee to defend the #RomaEU children rights.
The 2026 @equineteurope’s calendar highlights in April the case of Javier, a young #RomaEU supported by Spain’s CEDRE, coordinated by FSG.
Thanks to CEDRE, Javier won justice and helped raise awareness about ongoing racial #discrimination and the need to defend #equaltreatment.

In Spain, nine out of ten #RomaEU children (89.1%) live in poverty. FSG’s director Sara Giménez: ‘The #EUChildGuarantee is the tool to combat this situation, and Roma children are one of the priority groups defined by it due to their particular vulnerability.’
