I like this episode, finally a bit of characterisation for Sam other than "she's quirky in a vaguely autistic way". I like the open ending, it would have been disappointed otherwise.

I know it's a thing in US HS, but I don't know I feel debate as a winner/looser thing is a bit pointless. I get what it can bring to HS students of research and organising fact but it's useless irl and college students should learn more complex and nuance moral philosophy.
