Two books by Margaret George. Mary Queen of Scotland and the Isles and The Memoirs of Cleopatra.

Trying to pick out which thick #book I'll start off 2026 with. Last year it was #Sacajawea.
Leaning towards #AnnaKarenina. I tried it before but it seemed like it took that poor woman forever to get down those stairs!

While I definitely recommend this, some of the graphic SA, and abuse was too much for me at times. There's ton of fact here, but *very* little is known about #Sacajawea. That's where the #historicalfiction comes in.
