#Subscriptions will remain important sources of funding for these organizations. Good #journalism requires investment, & we, the public, need to become more comfortable in paying for our news.

I left #Saltwire, because as a subscriber, I still has to watch tasteless unprofessional garbage adverts like TikTok videos to view PAID obituary announcements. People pay $1000 to put one in, and the paper gets that, subscription money and ClickBait advertising in the most insensitive way.

Good for you, you'll like it. I don't read it every day, but I feel it important to support such valuable content. I withdrew my #Saltwire subscription long ago, and they just took 3 year payments off my visa card, and we may be in Small Claims court if I don't get it back? They had no consent.
