Nose of citrus, lemons, red apples, light sea salt, flowers, peaches, light oak, spices, light earth, minerals and light herbs. Medium plus in body with medium acidity. Dry on the palate with yellow apples, citrus, light oranges, spices, light wood, limes, light grapefruits, herbs, earth and light vegetables. Long finish with bitter herbs and spices. This is a delicious 11 year old White blend from Israel. Well balanced, elegant and rich. Complex and entertaining, tangy and interesting. Still feels fresh and youthful. I had a few vintages of this wine before, and decided to wait for a few years. I could have waited even longer. Such an interesting wine. Smells like a Chardonnay /Viognier blend, and on the palate the Sauvignon Blanc is more dominant. The mouthfeel reminds me of a white Burgundy. Good right out of the bottle, and better when not too cold. Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. A blend of 40% Viognier with Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and Dabuki. Aged in used French oak barrels for 10 months. 13.4% alcohol by volume. 92 points.

Strong nose of apples, over ripen citrus fruit, light nuts, tropical fruits, honey, mangoes, light pineapples, minerals and spices. Full-bodied and elegant with medium plus acidity. Sweet on the palate with citrus, over ripened apples, melons, spices, honeysuckle, mangoes and dried fruits. Long finish with apricots and honey notes. This 12 year old sweet wine from Sauternes is absolutely fantastic. Creamy and rich. Fruit forward and complex. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Elegant and extracted I've had a few vintages of this Second Growth Sauternes, and this 2014 is beautiful. Not as rich as the 2019 vintage, but just as gorgeous. Will continue to age nicely in the next 25 years. Wine Enthusiasts 95 points. Good by itself as a dessert, and will pair nicely with blue cheese. A blend of 90% Sémillon with Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. 14% alcohol by volume. 94 points. $40.

Grand Napa Vineyards Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2025, California Pale lemon in color. Nose of citrus, green apples, earth, herbs, river rocks, green vegetables and minerals. Medium bodied with medium plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing. Dry on the palate with green apples, light grapefruits, limes, earth, sea salt, bitter herbs and spices. Tangy finish with limes and herbs. This is an interesting Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley. Nicely balanced with nice complexity. Fresh and easy drinking. Earthy nose and a bit fruitier on the palate. Feels more like one from the Loire Valley. Much earthier and than the 2024 vintage that I had last year, which I loved. Feels like it needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Would be nice to revisit it in a couple of years. Good right out of the bottle and a good food wine. 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes were hand picked and fermented in stainless steel vats. 14.1% alcohol by volume. 90 points. $25.
