Dear Minister, I am writing to raise my serious concern that Australia is becoming reliant on Starlink for Internet/Communication services. As you no doubt recall, only a few years ago the Chinese Company, Huawei, was considered too close to the Government of that country and so could not be trusted with data of the Australian Government. We now see reports that the Australian Electoral Commission is set to use Starling services during the upcoming Election. In similar fashion to the Huawei situation, it is patently obvious that Starlink through its owner, is conjoined with the Government of the USA. The current leadership of the USA clearly does not have the interests of countries like Australia at heart and so cannot be trusted with any data involving our own Government. I must implore you to intervene in any use of Starlink for Government requirements. This includes indirect use of their services through other companies such as Telstra. I await your prompt response in this matter.

Considering the Huawei Kerfuffle a few years back, I don't really see a difference.
