Air much colder than the water flowing around the ice in the river spawn sea smoke, a type of fog. The black and brown stems and sticks of the vegetation along the bank are coated in white hoarfrost that is made of ice that forms without being a liquid. The snow below has a blue cast from the sky above, and the clouds of fog are orange and yellow from the warming sun being filtered by trees on the far bank in this sunrise photo.
