A single dry stem of an herbaceous native wild pea vine (Lathyrus ochroleucus) stands in a bit of sun against a blue-violet and whitish partly shadowed snowy background. One compound leaf with a handful of dry leaflets extends to the left. The leaflets are backlit pale gold, papery and crumpled a bit on places, with tiny marks and holes on the surface. Some smaller leaflets cling next to the upright stem, with even a small tendril preserved. The blurred background holds several round edged pale masses- clumps of snow looking like mounds of cotton batting, near white in the centres, blending to violet-blue in the shadows between. The camera lens has turned a number of glimmers of light into bright or faint circles in the background, and a few bits of reddish brown foliage fade into the shadows. A mid-pale violet plucked from the filter enhanced shadows forms a thin border and a lighter shade is used for the words Happy Holidays in a casual script font in lower left.

Two landscape orientation photos have been put together, one on top of the other. The lower image is nearly abstract-a line of snow drift crosses left to right in a roadside ditch- flat on top coming to a sharp line in the centre then sloping gently down. Bits of short grass show through the snow on top and trees across the road cast vague blue shadows on the drift. The top image shows another roadside ditch. The blue shadow of the road to the left reaches the middle of the ditch, then a snowy bank rises with a complex pattern of drifts reaching from the flattish top along wavy, sharp, narrowing ridges, down to meet the shadow at the ditch's lowest point. The waves and ridges catch light and shadow from pure white to deep blue. Above the drifts is a wire and post fence backed by darkish dry grass/weeds then a lightly snowed crop field and farther still varied wintry wooded areas- a line that follows a property line with some nearly orange willows and scattered grey poplars. Farther back is native mixed woods. There is a border of a slightly faded orangey red, and lettering in a lighter version of the same colour says Have a Beautiful Winter.

In the centre is a stem with several bright yellow flowers- roughly star shaped, upward facing with wide slightly recurved petals and a cluster of upright golden stamens in the centre, above narrow mid-green leaves. The blurry background is more green foliage, scattered yellow flowers and a vine that threads through the centre with deep dark burgundy wine leaves. The sun shines in from above/behind highlighting bits of foliage against dark shadows and making the yellow flowers glow, and the edges of the image are lightened and blurred a little to enhance the autumnal glow. The image has a narrow dull gold border and semi-script text in slightly varying sizes and tones of gold that says "wishing you a Blessed Autumn Equinox"
