It's #SecondPageSaturday... cuz I said so...
I posted Page One of "JACK BURTON: MONSTER HUNTER" yesterday.
Oh nothing, it's just a sequel to Big Trouble in Little China.
Here's Page Two. Jack's a few decades older, but he's still dishing out sound advice and grinding all the gears!

ERIN (yelling) Stop right there! Don't move another goddamn muscle! Julia skids to a stop as she spots Erin, immediately raising her hands in surrender. Julia is covered in sweat, blood. Erin observes the young woman as she carefullyame and approaches her, lowering her weapon slowly, gesturing to the ground at Julia's feet. ERIN (CONT' D) I£ you're going to take a midnight stroll, you need to watch where you're going. Moonlight reflects off a sliver of metal in the grass. A trap. ERIN (CONT ' D) pause) Who are you running from? JULIA (panicked whispering) Please! You need to need to listen to me. We need to get out of here right now, we can't stay here, it's not safe-- A HOWL cuts through the melodious music of the night, trailing off into strange, alien trill that raises goosebumps on Erin's skin. Her head whips to the tree line, scanning for movement as she grips her rifle. ERIN I don't need to do shit. Who are you running from? You with that church? JULIA (laughing It's bitterly) not a church. It's much, much, worse. something Julia holds up her hand, showing a symbol that's been into the flesh of her palm. carved A crescent moon nestled in a bed of stars above rolling ocean waves. Erin steps forward to examine the young woman's hand when she hears men's voices off in the distance.
#SecondPageSaturday??
Synopsis: A woman escaping a doomsday cult stumbles upon a survivalist’s ranch, and the two women are forced to confront their demons to survive the night.
For #SecondPageSaturday, here’s something from “Paranormal Preparatory School”, adapted from my game of the same name. Caitria, the protagonist, was an invention purely for the script, but I love the opportunity to write a character with a lot of inner fury.

One of my favourite gags ever from “Homecoming”, our horror comedy. Chatty Villager and Stern Villager ended up appearing in the script more than we planned, and I cannot wait to watch their scenes get filmed.

I need to know what happens next! Is #SecondPageSaturday a thing?
