In the background is a huge pile of snow that is piled up to the level of the roof of the building and a row of naked trees. At the right is the service station itself. It is a small wooden building with a snow-covered awning on the front. There are some tools hanging on the left side of the building. A credit card sign with the logos for Discover, Visa, and MasterCard sticks out from the side of the building. On the left side of the front of the building is a large round Texaco sign with a red star at its center and apparent rust, mostly at the bottom left. Below that is a Trico Windshield ad propped up against the building. To the right of that are two rusty metal chairs and a rusty looking cabinet below a pair of windows, which, with the credit card sign, look like the only new things in the photo. To the right of that is the door to the building and at the far right of the building is a Pepsi soda machine. There is an Open sign hanging from the awning. Behind the service station is a large evergreen tree. All around the building is snow with no pavement showing. Unseen in the photo is another gas pump around the right side of the building. It looks like it would be difficult to pull a car into the scene.
