A knitted, stranded cjild-sized hat lying flat, with an allover traditional fair isle motif in only two yarns: one a solid black, the other a self-striping yarn in red, orange, neon yellow, neon green, and purple.
My third version of this pattern, the 2025 Shetland Wool Week hat, www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib.... This one is done in Faux Isle, using Knit Picks Chroma fingering in a solid (black) and a self-striping colorway.
