Leaving town Leaving Town by Iris Carden I don’t have a lot to do during the day, so I watch the tv news. Sometimes, I sleep, though sleep’s unnecessary and dreams quickly turn to nightmares of memories I’d rather forget. Therefore, I usually watch the news. The horrors of a world I’m no longer part of, are a relief from the horrors of my own memory. From the news, I learn that my late friend, the crocodile, has been found. I also learn chunks of several missing persons were found in its digestive tract.
