Crocodile Crocodile by Iris Carden I am Aaron Williams. I live a kilometre or so outside of a minuscule town, near a neglected highway. At night I travel the road, helping motorists who break down, or picking up hitch hikers who don’t realise just how remote and dangerous this road is. There’s a large saltwater crocodile in the local river, and it has a taste for unwary travellers. Aaron, the vampire who had this identity before I killed him and took it, told me about the croc. I thought it was a story he’d helped spread to explain the partial bodies found.
