Aww 🥰 I got thank you notes today from the classroom I did #SkypeAScientist with last week! I enjoy the conversations with the kids so much I wouldn't notice if they didn't send a thank you-- but when they do, well, it just makes my day all over again! 💜 🧠

Action is an antidote to despair. We can all contribute different ways. I just finished five sessions with #SkypeAScientist, talking to 7th graders about STEAM careers and trying to radicalize a few future planners/engineers. :D

I got into #skypeAscientist bc I wanted to combat stereotypes against scientists being perpetuated by anti-science and anti-vaxxers. I didn’t want ppl to refuse life-saving interventions like vaccines
