The photo is of the controller circuit board from a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply). In the middle of the photo is a translucent orange component, a 40 amp fuse. The fuse is lit from behind and shows that the upside-down "U" shaped wire in the fuse is missing a section in the middle.
I'm going to take a guess and say that the problem is likely fuse or fuse-related... ๐โก
