A "wardrobe" in the space between an IKEA PAX and a wall, built from two of these compressed wood planks and a wooden bar to hang jackets from. On top there are two boxes with shoes and stuff and a curtain can be used to hide everything.
Wife and I improvised a wardrobe from scrap stuff we had laying around. 0€ spent, #3DPrinting holds everything together.
We got a step closer to not requiring deepClone and a postFetch hack to build #solvespace with #nix by using a newer freetype2 clone url, but the above error is still a blocker...

It's really cool how lightweight #SolveSpace is, both from an end-user and developer perspective. Its code is readable, uses no fancy complicated toolkits and builds in a minute. Adding things like the above is really doable. Try that with other #CAD software.
I added a new feature to #SolveSpace: hiding all groups (sketches) that are fully constrained, leaving only the ones you can still drag around.

@elight #SolveSpace has a very approachable paradigm where *everything* is based on constraints. All points and lines stay referenceable and draggable (if still unconstrained) all the time, which I absolutely love.

@nobodyinperson TIL about #solvespace. Wow! And here I was all about OpenSCAD because I could write in (almost) math. But this looks absurdly easy compared to most of the CAD tools I've seen and used!
A shoesole-shaped 3D printed part housing a USB plug plugged into a USB extender cable. The cable of the plug is guided in a loop so that two cable ends exit the thing at the right hand side. Everything sits snugly inside groobes so nothing moves. A transparent cap lies next to it. The housing has a small flat hook on the top.
Another day, another #3Dprint designed in #SolveSpace. This time it's a strain relief and dirt protection housing for a USB extender coupling.
