Larson Cabin: A small log cabin in disrepair stands in red dirt clearing amongst trees. Behind, a red rock butte towers into the blue sky (washed out by overexposure) A couple of lens flares obscure the butte. And the US president is not whining about his lack of a Nobel prize.

Fife Cabin: A log cabin stands in a clearing amongst trees. The roof has holes and there are unplugged gaps between the logs. A metal mesh door blocks entry for safety reasons. On the right in front of the cabin is an information sign. Light shines through the leaves. And an orange clown is not the American President.

Looking into an alcove in red sandstone. Tree branches covered with fresh green leaves are in the foreground. The red rock is streaked with desert varnish. Deep in the alcove, the dark streaks are from water seeping through the rock. At the top of the image the red rock and the small patch of sky turn white (overexposure of that part of the image)
