Today is my birthday.
If you have a few dollars, supporting #SpacesForGrace would mean a lot to me.
Our next Salon is coming up in Oct!

#SpacesForGrace
Finally I'm still raising funds for #SpacesForGrace a new initiative to create real world spaces for Black Women organizers to rest, connect & heal without the burden of expectations.

I'm still raising funds to host more #SpacesForGrace Salons this year - making room for joy fortifies us, and it is a feeling that is stripped from our lives far too often.
You can support making it possible for more people to experience this kind of space here: bit.ly/SpacesForGra...
One of our initial #SpacesForGrace Salon participants shares about the weekend as it relates to having no expectations put on her during the experience.
Black Women need these kinds of spaces now more than ever. Please consider donating to help me expand this project: bit.ly/SpacesForGra...
A testimonial graphic for Spaces for Grace: A Salon Series, featuring a quote from an inaugural cohort participant. The quote reads: "Throughout the weekend, I felt comfort -- but I didn't realize until afterwards that I also felt a level of safety & protection as well." Below the quote, the text asks, "How did it feel to be in this space?" followed by the attribution, Inaugural Cohort Participant in italicized text. The graphic has a white background with subtle circular patterns. The Spaces for Grace logo is displayed at the top in an elegant script font, followed by “A Salon Series” and “TESTIMONIALS” in a bold, serif typeface. In the bottom right corner, there is a circular inset photo of a diverse group of Black women, dressed in colorful attire, standing together inside a home, smiling and posing for the camera. An orange accent shape decorates the bottom right corner of the design.
We haven't even raised enough money to cover ONE Black Woman's attendance at a #SpacesForGrace Salon. Below, a participant in our inaugural salon in January talks about how it felt to be in the space created.

At the end of 2024, I was able to secure funding for the 1st #SpacesForGrace Salon held in Charlotte in Jan. It was a dream, and the experience still fortifies me - for 3 days, we had nothing to do but just BE & BE TAKEN CARE OF. I want to make this possible for more Black Women. gofund.me/65f209c3
As promised, I'm here with a direct effort to support Black Women Organizers. #SpacesForGrace is a Salon Series I have developed to provide much-needed support, rest, and respite for Black Women organizers. The GoFundMe Campaign has launched. We need your donations and support: gofund.me/aee6e784
