Photo shows my 3d printed spindle with the spun yarn below. It's actually very difficult to balance it for photography! The spindle has a red shaft and a gold coloured whorl, and the yarn is pale blue/grey.
I've done about half of this, and maybe if I'd spun it straight away it would be less sticky and slightly felty. #SpindleSpinning #FiberArts

Photo shows two lengths of fibre, both still need much manipulation to make them spin nicely. I believe it is merino, and it is a pale blue/grey colour, resting on my blue jeans.

I love this finished spindle spin so much! It was the "gothic rainbow" merino silk blend from @ixchelbunny.bsky.social. There's 260 yards spun as a single ply to preserve the rainbow color runs. It's light as a feather and so soft and shiny. #handspun #handspinning #spindlespinning
