Few weeks ago, I became the first person in the UK to have the entire ABCA4 gene injected into the retina.
I don't know what my vision will look like on the other side. But I know the first thing I want to do.

Had to break out the calculator today. I was diagnosed with #Stargardts 39 years ago in 1986. Even though I still have functional vision, and my eSight Go for when I need/want it, I have decided to start taking #Braille classes.
