1/I think in going to start my "blog" back up again on Substack.

I started it on Blogspot in 2015, with the focus on living with chronic illness, and as the brain began to get bad, the writing had to stop. #mecfs

I'm having my 4th #stellateganglionblock in a week, and I'm able to read (& write!)

Had my 3rd #StellateGanglionBlock this past Thursday to see if we can raise me #MECFS baseline and bit.
In many ways, I'm noticing progress, but the drive to Stanford and back (8 hours total, which is not normal) did me in.
I've also had a couple of very taxing days. #pwME #pem #PENE

Last year, I was able to access #StellateGanglionBlock for my #mecfs, and had 2, and that has really helped with the brain. Unfortunately, I still need to remember to pace.

And the #dysautonomia- lopressor and fluids are the only things I've been able to do. (Other than increase salt intake.)

In January of 2024, I underwent my first #StellateGanglionBlock for #mecfs and had energy to do things like walk the backyard with Jackie. In May 2024, I had my second SGB, and regained my ability to read books.
Since May, I have completed 55 books. I've been reading daily for 185 days. 🎉📚
