Parthian turn and in the centre, they’ve broken the line and are crowding the Sasanian cataphract unit. Right next door though, another Parthian cataphract unit has been pushed back in turn and is disordered. This looks like the Sasanians to loose… #strengthandhonour #wargaming

I’ve settled on an example of an early Sasanian force for #strengthandhonour. It consists of 2 Savaran cataphract units, 2 Savaran armoured horse archer units, 3 infantry units and 2 nomadic horse archer units. This comes in at a whopping 101pts! And it is hard hitting but potentially fragile…

I’m pretty happy with where my Sasanian rules for #strengthandhonour are at. So maybe a big game… Barbalissos! 60000 odd Romans against the best the Spah has and led by the Shahanshah Shapur I himself. Historically the Romans get hammered here but let’s see if this is a bit tighter… #spreadthelard
