For just Black Elk, use Trail 9; for just Little Devils Tower, use Trail 4. They connect with Trail 3 (photo), which requires that you lose maybe half the elevation you gained on LDT.
Trails 4 and 9 share a parking lot at #SylvanLake but have separate trailheads. Easy logistics.
