More progress on the #TIETwins projects. Fighter has had pin washes added and some panel lines highlighted with a very sharp graphite pencil. I'm on the fence if this has turned out too dark. Clear hatch and windshield remains for masking only. #BuildTheStash #ScaleModelBS
TIE Advanced and Fighter are in gloss clear ahead of giving them a few decals and a wash. #TIETwins #BuildTheStash
My own custom TIE colour has been mixed and sprayed on the Fighter and the Advanced. I think I'm happy with the colour. The top hatch and windshield are the clear parts used as masks. Now for the solar panels. #BuildTheStash #TieTwins #ScaleModelBS
The TIE Advanced X1 and the TIE Fighter fuselages are ready for preshading and primer. The shiny painted bits I did will not be visible either. And I still need to address the solar panels for both. #BuildTheStash #TIETwins #ScaleModelBS
Cockpit halves of a Bandai 1/72 TIE Fighter
Cockpit halves are as done as they're going to be. 90% of it won't really be visible anyway. Vader lurks in the background, anxiously awaiting getting his ride back from the shop. Speaking of which, back to the pilots! #BuildTheStash #TIETwins #ScaleModelBS
And all the rest of the interior cockpit decals have been applied. Ended up pinning it down to a piece of foam to keep it steady enough to work on. Glad that's over. #BuildTheStash #ScaleModelBs #TIETwins
The interior bits have been cleared and the first 4 of 15 small, triangular decals for each cockpit assembly have been applied. #TIETwins #ScaleModelBS
