A full #moon probably isn't the best way to test a cheap #teleconverter out. 2x definitely gives you more pixels, but detail? I definitely need a sturdier tripod for dialing in focus & capturing #Jupiter.

It was relatively clear tonight. I got a shot of #Jupiter with one of it's moons, plus our own #moon. The focus is a bit soft, but considering they are hand held with a cheap #2x #teleconverter, I was pretty excited to see some details.

THIS is darn surprising to me - you can use the #CanonRF 2x #teleconverter with the very popular non-L 100-400mm/5.6-8 lens, making it a 200-800mm/f11-16 lens that DOES autofocus! Heck, I used that combo on a #CanonR100, with its 1.6 crop-factor, making it a 320-1280mm lens!! #BirdPhotography

If you've got the @omsystem.bsky.social M.Zuiko 40-150/2.8 PRO lens, you should really consider pairing it with the MC-20 #teleconverter, and bump that puppy up to an 80-300mm/5.6 lens (160-600mm 35mm equiv)!

I mostly get #HouseFinches, but they're perfect test subjects! Nowhere near as sharp as my #sigma150600 alone, but these were not cropped! Thank goodness for noise reduction too! Definitely not for use all the time tho.
