Other green stems can be seen in the image on the right and behind the tulip. There are many bokeh bubbles in the background, particularly at the bottom, giving the photo an almost impressionist quality.

Fingal county council's flower boxes are providing me with ample subjects, particularly taken with this tulip.

Five massive vintage Carl Zeiss Jena large-format lenses arranged on a light wooden table. The collection includes four Apo-Tessars with focal lengths of 60cm, 75cm, 90cm (which has a small dent on the outer rim), and a giant 120cm f/11. In the center sits a smaller Tessar 300mm f/3.5. The lenses are black with white engravings showing their technical specifications and serial numbers, with the glass reflecting the overhead light.

Collected a few CZJ Tessars over the years. The 90cm has a small dent, call it a battle scar, but at this scale, it’s basically a rounding error. I call it 'character,' as they’ve always been workhorses, not just collector items.

A photograph of a Camellia Japonica plant, specifically it is the Bushfield's Yellow cultivar. The focus of the image is on a large white and yellow flower in the centre, it is framed by two branches with myriad green leaves on either side. Several other white-yellows flowers are visible on the left, bottom and top of the image. To the left attached to a branch is a white tag giving details about the plant, hence why I knew it was a bushfield's yellow camellia. In background in the top and right of the image you can see the characteristic "soap bubble" bokeh effect that vintage Carl Zeiss Jena lenses are known for.

I wasn't sure about this when I took it, didn't think I'd got the focus correct, however it came out lovely. Especially that bubble bokeh effect in the background.

A photograph of the entrance to an estuary. The lower half of the image is mostly blue water with a tinge of green, there are many buoys of various colours floating all over the water. Prominent in the centre of the image is a black pontoon with two dingies on it, a smaller red one and a larger black one. To the upper left of the pontoon are two white sail boats which are positioned on the edge of the left-hand sandbank which itself is topped with grass. On the other side of the image is the right-hand sandbank, it is slightly flatter than the left-hand one. Above everything is a blue sky speckled with clouds that extend across the image.
