Green Bush-cricket nymph, Tettigonia viridissima
Back from a very enjoyable trip to Somerset with @naturetrek.bsky.social. Highlight for me were the Great Green Bush-crickets, Tettigonia viridissima. Even the nymphs look like they could take your arm off if you annoyed them.

A nymph of Tettigonia viridissima (the green bush-cricket, a bright green grasshopper), on an almost bloomed flower of golden-fleece (Urospermum dalechampii), whose petals are externally violet in color but inside have the typical yellow color of many Asteraceae
When I ride my MTB, I always have to stop myself from taking my camera with me, otherwise I make too many stops to photograph little critters that I find along the way and I almost never get on the bike.
