Filmbewertung the Surfer Was für ein seltsamer und irgendwie auch unangenehmer Film. Nicolas Cage spielt einen Mann, der mit seinem Sohn zum Strand seiner Kindheit zurück kehrt und dann von den locals erst schikaniert, dann terrorisiert wird, bis er snappt. Meines Erachtens ist die Dauer bis er snappt unrealistisch lang. Das er die Gegend nicht verlässt, obwohl er theoretisch die Möglichkeit hat, macht mE überhaupt keinen Sinn. Auch sind die Männer die ihn schikanieren, einfach Psychopathen, wie ein boot camp für toxische Männlichkeit, wieso sollte man da wohnen wollen.
