the dark green narrow, trifoliate leaves with a lighter green central vein.

The pale green seed pods comprised of triangular shaped segments which break off easily. The seeds are covered with tiny hairs which adhese to anything passing by, an animal, or in my case, pants!

Here is an entry for #FlowerReport. This is Panicled #Ticktrefoil #Desmodium paniculatum a common plant here in suburban South #Georgia though probably less well known for the lovely but very tiny flowers as it is for it's velcro-like seeds 😂
