Tollymore is the best place EVER in Northern Ireland for woodlands and waterfalls. It is so hard to beat the magic of this place year in and year out. It is truly wonderful for different compositions for the rest of my life probably! #tollymore #waterfalls #woodlandphotography #northernireland

On each side of the river the ground is carpeted with orange beech leaves. While the tree canopy above the river has hues of green, gold, red and orange. Across the river are large stepping stones and the water cascades through the gaps in the stones like mini waterfalls.

We’ve been on our annual pilgrimage to #tollymore this past week and the stepping stones are a honeypot location for photographers. For the previous 2 years the water level was too high for taking good slow shutter photos but this past week was perfect. #landscape #autumn #ireland #naturewriting
