We know nothing. This is the action of a lunatic.
Lunatic? Not at all, Professor. A necessary detail, that's all.
But why?
Logic, my dear Professor, logic and power. On Earth the Brotherhood of Logicians is the greatest man intelligence ever assembled.

18:32 4G 29 ChatGPT > Helmet Innovations That Never Made It: The costume department originally toyed with the idea of fitting the Cybermen's helmets with small, rotating, illuminated "eye" fixtures to suggest an active scanning mechanism. The concept was meant to add a dynamic, almost sentient quality to the Cybermen. However, due to technical limitations and budget constraints, this idea was abandoned. The resulting static helmet, with its austere, unyielding design, ended up perfectly capturing the machine-like menace that fans cherish. Meticulous Chest Unit Detailing: Another fascinating detail is the way one of the Cybermen's chest units was handled. Instead of a plain, unadorned surface, the prop was meticulously hand-painted with an array of faux control panels and wiring. These added textures and "mechanical" details, though entirely decorative, lent the Cybermen an extra layer of believability as if they were complex machines with hidden inner workings

But why is that a shame? Well....
Technically, other Cybermen speak in #TombOfTheCybermen but all they say is "wibble".
I'd never noticed before that the only actual Cyber dialogue is given to a voice actor who doesn't use his voice.
Today in #DoctorWho #TombOfTheCybermen:
Michael Kilgarriff plays the CyberController.
Famed for his voice, his words were instead supplied by Peter Hawkins.
The CyberController is the only Cyberman who speaks in this story.

Really, the tomb layout in #TombOfTheCybermen ONLY makes sense to an Egyptologist.
Why is one of the three remaining rooms of your society one where you test old weapons?
Why seal yourself away from your USB charger?
Have you ever wondered why the #TombOfTheCybermen has two chambers upstairs? Why is one a weapons testing room? Why is the other a recharging room? İsn't that... bonkers?

In short, #SwordofOrion is not terrible, but as a #Cybermen awakening story, it was done before in the infinitely better #TomboftheCybermen. As a base under siege story, unfortunately it just didn't bring anything new or remarkable to the table.

On paper, #DoctorWho's #RedDawn feels pretty much like #TomboftheCybermen but with #IceWarriors. What I like about this story, however, is that it leans more on the humans being the villains. Unfortunately, the story doesn't stand out that much.
