Just for clarification, the #ToyBoxJam2025 provides all the audio and visual assets (e.g. sprites, music, sfx) and you build something with it.

So like, on the one hand, designing a #toyboxjam2025 entry riffing on Robotron is great fun. Robotron is one of my faves of all time. On the other, trying to balance the nightmarish difficulty of the Robotron-like gameplay within the confines of #Pico8 is itself nightmarish. Why didn’t I ape Pong???

It'll be a dungeon puzzler where you'll swap tiles between two dungeons till there's a clear path from entrance to exit in BOTH. #PICO8 #ToyBoxJam2025

Started on my #TOYBOXJAM2025 entry today relearning the simple basics of #EasyFPS after not using it for a few years and gonna to strictly use only the resources provided for this game jam and try to make a simplistic retro first person platformer 😈💜
Decided on my concept for my #toyboxjam2025 entry. A Metroidbrainia-ish puzzle game. Swap different abilities to navigate out of a large maze. Got movement, physics, and the first power up coded yesterday. I love designing in #pico8, always a blast
