Перейшов на світлий бік- #Xpenology -> #truenasscale поки бачу різницю тільки в швидкості, бо #zfs звісно цікава файлова система. Все інше відчуття як за кермом літака- купа крутілок та свободи, в сінолоджі було як на айофоні для домохозяєк

Well, #trueNasScale upgrade to 24.10/electricEel was mostly uneventful!

Two things didn't work:
- qBittorrent, but I'd configured NPM wrong, fat fingers 🙄
- tailscale, reinstalled it and it worked fine 🤷‍♂️

The upcoming #TrueNASScale release comes with #Incus built-in so I took it for a spin to see how the integration was done!

Absolutely furious that I know my #TrueNASScale #NAS local IP Address by heart.

I was not meant to retain, let alone need such knowledge.

Ten 12TB drives and five 14TB drives in a repurposed #Intel 10th gen i9 with 18c/32t and 192GB of RAM.

Two specific pools of 80TB and 50TB all in a @45drives #HL15 build.

#TrueNASScale for the storage management.

I installed #minio on my #truenasscale then restic on a couple hosts. I successfully made several backup and tested / verified restore

My new #NAS. Still waiting on an Jonsbo N2 case from China, but up and running #truenasscale

I kinda need that vdev expansion asap, but that new drive is still being tested by badblocks...😣 #truenas #truenasscale
