Moving from left to right as the vessel was moving upriver, I thought the white tower was part of the large dark vessel. As it got closer I realized that the white tower was part of the tugboat. Couldn’t get whole image in the last picture

Winter 1875: Steam Tug VIM tows a fishing schooner loaded with bait, Gloucester Harbor. I cleaned this one up a bit for an article I'm working on. Back then, Gloucester Harbor would freeze up and tugs would have to act as ice breakers.
