thanks for tweeting, agree with your analysis- there are clearly certain areas that these cell free DNA test do very well including cx negative endocarditis. I think we're still working out full utility in other situations, including in transplant patients #TxIDSky , including optimal timing.

Bactrim, doxy are not appropriate and now running into trouble with linezolid.

Has anyone used azith or cefixime? Other ideas?

Always timely to raise awareness of prophylaxis and treatment of UTI as well as to raise awareness re overdiagnosis in patients with pyuria/ bacteriuria but no sx. I do worry about immunocompromise as a condition for complicated UTI dx , I think there is a lot of over Rx due to definitions #TxIDsky
