Still #undiagnosed, but saw a new PCP today. Trialing montelukast and if I improve, off to an allergist with the idea that I have a genetic mutation which creates a predisposition to a poor immune system. Again, not wanting to be hopeful, but also needing to be.

Law school was not particularly difficult, but the culture shock of law (versus science) was unpleasant, plus I was still #Undiagnosed.

When I graduated, the legal employment market was terrible, plus my technical area was not in demand. I couldn't get a job as a patent lawyer.

I could have been a lab tech or maybe get an education degree and teach high school science.

But a friend told me that patent attorneys made great money and chemistry as an undergraduate degree was a strong predictor of success. Off I went to a podunk law school with a patent program.

I have an undergraduate degree in chemistry. However, I am the "Tim 'the Tool Man' Alan" of the chemistry lab. Despite my rather high opinion of myself, I was also a mediocre student. I did graduate and even spent a semester as an ersatz grad student in a program that didn't want me.
