Groceries ordered and on their way, taxes done, did an hour+ sewing for my next quilt, washed dishes, took out some recycling, and made an apple pie (currently cooking).

Oh and a hour and a half nap.

Right now it’s just hitting all the buttons, it’s tannic, but not to much, it’s rich but not overwhelming, it’s acidic but still has a balance.

A Pacific Northwest and a BC Pinot Gris to Enjoy Today Here are two more white wines for you to enjoy, hoping to banish away the upcoming winter season.  Both wineries are from BC, but one of these wines use WA state fruit.  In 2024 we have a very bad cold winter snap that killed the majority of interior BC grape vines.  Fort Berens Estate Winery suffered vine loss, so for 2024 they brought in WA state grapes to produce this Pinot Gris Wine.

A Pacific Northwest Sauvignon Blanc and a BC Rose to Enjoy Today Well, the really bad, rainy weather is not yet here, so I decided to taste a white and a rosé wine.  Red wines will come soon enough.  Today I have the Gold Hill Winery Cabernet Franc Rosé 2022 and the Township 7 Vineyards & Winery Interlude Sauvignon Blanc 2024, with the latter being made in BC, but using WA state grapes due to our terrible winter in 2024 which killed many grape vines in BC.
