Second day off from writing and my head is already swimming again for Worldbuilding in #WIPTides that doesn't technically feature in the book (except for brief mentions that I’ll have to work in when going into the first big edit) but will for the rest of it.

#WIPSundered has many thousands of different types of Star Nations, many of them could be a Matriarchy of some kind but if I named and explained them all the thing would be 600K words long, or more.

Another 2K words dropped on #WIPTides, and i'm soooo close to the end! 2/3rds of the epilogue done, then I can finally set the thing aside, take a break for a day or two and then launch right back into Sundered!

Second to last chapter (excluding epilogue) done! Another 1700 words added to the pile but will continue tonight, hoping to add the last chapter and said Epilogue then. Then it'll be a wrap for #WIPTides first draft!

I finally added a large, pre-written block of text to my #WIPTides that I wrote back in December! 4800 words dumped in then 'fixed' to fit into what was written just before it. That means two chapters finished today and a third started on. Not bad for one day's work!

Didn't finish the chapter on #WIPTides like I wanted today, but killed off one of the characters that are getting yeeted anyway, plus added 3K words. Will finish it tomorrow.

A random reddit comment on a post about something I can't even remember about. Now, two months later, it's nearly at 90K words, 21 chapters and a handful still to go before the first draft is finished.
Weird how the tiniest of things can have that kind of effect.

An achieved daily session target of 2026 words written out of a targeted 1625.
I have achieved the #StartingOffWrite challenge! Day 29 at 51K words! Still more to be done before #WIPTides first draft is finished.
I had the urge to add a whole bunch of #WIP projects to scrivener, and I stumbled onto a story idea I'd completely forgotten about until now. Now even my past self is flinging ideas at me, trying to distract me from finishing #WIPTides! It will not succeed!
