Was @ #WWTMartinMere today and noticed a ringed Moorhen by picnic tables by The Discovery Hide. Report info attached, I was a bit surprised! #UKBirding #WBCM #BTO #BirdRinging #Kanebrides #Lancsbirding
A great white egret taking to flight in front of some reeds.
On a recent visit to #wwtmartinmere I was watching the small woodland birds in the Janet Kear hide when this great egret dropped in very briefly. The whole visit lasted maybe 30 seconds and I was able to get this when it took off.
