When I’m on country and in the salt water diving,

for that short moment of time when I’m connected to my land, culture and ancestors,

I’m free, I’ve not a worry in the world and my life is perfect even though it’s not.

My little big boy scooped up the mutton fish today.

Give a man a fish he eats for a day, teach a young Aboriginal man how to get a feed on country and not only will he eat for a lifetime but he will also connect to his culture and his ancestors.

Day 3 of being back on my #Walbunja #Yuin country and I can say there is no better place on earth than on country.

They say you don’t take a dolphin out of the water of it has wounds, well that’s the same way I feel about being on country.
