APM Mukah successfully destroyed a wasp nest found outside a home on 24 February. The nest, the size of a tennis ball, was safely removed using Ridsect spray and fire techniques.

I looked around but didn't spot where this came from. I'm not versed enough in wasp nest construction to know if this was built hanging from a tree or underground. As I didn't see any nearby recently excavated holes I'm assuming it was hanging from a nearby tree. So much hairy! A large multi tiered wasp nest fully infected with fungus from the Mucor genus as evidenced by white hairs.
